Volunteers empower Woodbury Options for Women to reach more women, children, and families in Washington County! Together, we can build a presence in our community. A presence full of love, compassion, and support for young women experiencing an unexpected pregnancy.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We ask all volunteers to sign Woodbury Options’ Statement of Faith and, where applicable, attend training. All volunteers who interact directly with clients, donors, or their information must undergo a background check before beginning to volunteer with Woodbury Options for Women.

Event Volunteer

Event Volunteers assist with set-up and tear-down at various events, as well as help during events with attendee assistance and general needs. Some Event Volunteers will also assist with staffing information tables at various community events such as church events, Woodbury Days, etc.

Mailing Team

Mailing Team volunteers assist with preparing large mailings for quarterly newsletters, donor contact, and events. We may also ask this team to help with preparing other correspondence.

Prayer Team

Prayer Team Members pray for our Clinic, Staff, Clients, State, and other topics related to our work on a designated day of the week. If you’d like to receive real-time prayer request texts from Woodbury Options, please sign up HERE.

Boutique Volunteer

Boutique volunteers assist with organizing donations, the boutique, and our supplies. Occasionally, we ask you to assist clients with shopping in our boutique.

Office Admin Support

Volunteers commit to regular hours on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and assist with document organization, miscellaneous administrative tasks, greeting clients, assisting with phone calls, etc.

Board Member

Board Members meet 6-8 times a year, assist with oversight, and help create the Strategic Plan. Board Members are asked for a 3-year commitment.

Committee Member

Volunteers can serve on various committees, such as Finance, Event Planning, Fundraising, Outreach, etc. Committees meet 6-8 times a year primarily via Zoom and are asked to make a 1-year commitment.

Client Education Volunteer

Our Client Education Volunteers work closely with our Advocate staff. These volunteers assist clients with completing their education hours, review knowledge with clients, and organize and host classes. These volunteers may be interacting with clients in person or over the telephone.

Groups

We welcome community groups, such as office teams, youth groups, Bible study groups, etc, to volunteer! Contact us for our current group needs and availability.
